## Conservation Measures Partnership

### Description

The Conservation Measures Partnership is a collaborative effort of conservation NGOs, foundations, and agencies working to improve the practice of biodiversity conservation. CMP is best known for the *Open Standards for the Practice of Conservation* (also called Conservation Standards), a framework that helps organisations design, manage, and measure **effective conservation** projects. By harmonising approaches and sharing knowledge, CMP aims to ensure conservation actions are evidence-based, adaptive, and scalable.
